The Zombies, helmed by founding members Rod Argent and singer Colin Blunstone, are marking the group’s half century with a new album – ‘Breathe Out, Breathe In’ out on Red House Records May 9th.

A magisterial work, it is everything you could possibly hope for from the group who back in the ’60s provided such signature works as the singles ‘She’s Not There’, ‘Tell Her No’ and ‘Time Of The Season’ and the album ‘Odessey And Oracle’, their 1968 Brit psych masterpiece.

Here’s a reminder just how timeless those songs are:

The Zombies will be on tour in May:

Sat 14 – Frome, Cheese & Grain
Wed 18 – Liverpool Guild of Students, Stanley Theatre
Thu 19 – Wolverhampton, Robin 2
Fri 20 – Leamington Spa, Assembly
Sat 21 – Market Harborough Leisure Centre
Fri 27 – London, o2 Shepherds Bush Empire

Nottee first caused a sensation back in the latter part of 2009 with her Fleetwood Mac inspired pop. Since then she has been honing her craft, finding her production sound and been tipped by NME, Mixmag and Dazed.

The key ingredient in her musical progression was in the shape of Henning Fürst (ex.The Tough Alliance) and the first results of that collaboration are released to the world in the shape of a limited 7” release on Swedish label Emotion (Karl X Johan, Nicolas Makelberge, Hwasser). The 7″ is a double A side with the effervescent tracks ‘Don’t Waste Your Light On Me’ and ‘Share This’.
