“’She Fell In Love With Silence’ involves the shattered emotions of a victim of domestic abuse as she pauses to question how to make changes in life. Far from being overburdened with its subject SFILWS bounces along with a searing melody that delights and somehow projects the feeling that ‘the blows will stop’.” Jim Kerr – Lostboy’s new single hits iTunes on August 15th

Richard Thompson, one of the most distinguished guitarists and songwriters of our time, returns with Dream Attic, a magnificent collection of 13 new songs, due out August 30th on Proper Records. Penned during a short and inspired burst of creative outpouring, Thompson captured the awesome energy of his live show by recording the album in front of an audience. “I don’t think musicians playing on their own are particularly interesting, it’s only when they play in front of an audience that something interesting happens,” Thompson said in an interview at the show. The songs were performed during a West Coast tour in February of this year, and the bulk of the performances that made the album come from three shows at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.

This summer will see Adam Parker release his debut single ‘Oh My’ on Stray Cat Records on 2nd August.

The track tells a tale of an unexpected sexy encounter with a wistful and thoughtful remembrance layered with tempered guitar hooks and electronic loops. It’s a seamless amalgam of classic singer songwriter sensibilities, indie hook catch ability and the weathered soul of a troubadour, this is intelligent music-making with impeccably high standards and the occasional tongue in cheek humour.

But since then troupes of luchadores have visited London and been featured everywhere from The Today Programme to The Paul O’Grady Show to Channel Four News and the Daily Star and picking up fans such as Tim Burton and Jonathan Ross along the way.

What the media said about Lucha Libre London debut:
“A spectacle that’s more akin to a rock concert cranked to 11 than your standard British wrestling event. Viva Lucha Libre” Time Out
