Kerry Leatham aka the Guerrilla Busker is one of the undiscovered gems of the London scene. Hailing from Colchester, Kerry plays the guitar, sings and writes all her songs to produce a beautiful, intelligent, urban-folk sound.

I play guitar, I sing and I write, all three make me exceptionally happy…. I enjoy my own space and spend a lot of my time daydreaming.

It’s a sound that has captivated Bashy, who found her on My Space and decided to feature her track ‘Run Dry’ on Adulthood as well as feature on Kerry’s Permanent Scars track.

Currently, Kerry is busking around the UK as part of her Guerrilla Busker tour with a few friends and a video camera. Every busk is filmed and uploaded to her own site www.guerrillabusker.com

She is currently coming to the end of recording her debut album, provisionally titled ‘Stories From The Self Obsessed’.

It always makes me feel slightly uneasy when people ask me what my songs are about. If it’s not blindingly obvious, is it not better to interpret from them what you need or want? I personally find this is when I feel most connected to an artist.
