It builds from a quietly seething verse of sneered grievances - “The import rates are getting higher, All sold out to the biggest buyer, The fast food chains are getting fatter, Leaves our metabolism in a tatter” spits vocalist Patrick Minhard – into a genuinely euphoric chorus of firework guitars and drum spills that thumbs its nose at authority and resolves to go its own way.

Like all classic tracks since the dawn of rock n roll a simple melody tied to a poignant lyric which resonates with the people and reflects the present times will always form a winning solution. Sensorites have excelled in taking the principles of this rule with their latest single ‘Just Because You Can’ by organically producing a tune that captures the moment just as The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ did in ‘97 and Ian Brown’s ‘F.E.A.R’ did in 2002.
