Mirrorkicks release their new video for their fourth single, ‘On TV’; the explosive and brash intro to their recent debut album ‘Mirrorkicks’, which came out on their own label, Fruit Pie Records, in spring.
The promo video marks a new height on the already high bar of exciting and intriguing videos that the band has released with each of their singles. It all began, prior to any official releases, with the sneaking out of the band’s entirely self made video to the album track ‘Lego’, featuring a stop-motion animated adventure of the band in a Lego city!

Adam Parker releases his debut single ‘Smart Man’ at a time we may need it most. While the media spend their time dissecting our current political leaders and election time draws near, Adam Parker reminds us that we need action. This sentiment resonates with melodic scorn throughout this outstanding debut track. There is an equally menacing video to accompany too which includes, a cheeky animated gremlin, Big Ben and Adam, himself, looking like ‘one of them’.

Bristol based producer and artist Catraz introduces himself to the world with his first single ‘Knock Knock’. A cleverly written and upbeat tale of house parties, alcohol and Latina women!

Catraz, real name Alex Lucas, has been creating waves in the Bristol scene with his medley of originally composed and sampled tracks that it is of no surprise that fellow Bristol luminaries, Tricky and Massive Attack are also talking him up as one to watch.

His music, which is inspired by an array of artists from Kool G Rap, The Clash right through to the Gypsy Kings, is refreshingly simple and home grown although Catraz prefers to leave his sound definition to the listener.

He has recently been featured and interviewed on BBC radio shows including Steve Lamacq, Colin Murray, Nihal, Veena V and with growing support from various online and local stations such as BBC Radio Bristol, Phats Beats, Pulse Radio, Select Radio and Star Radio.

Knock Knock is released on August 24th as a digital download on Sidewalk 7
